Set amongst the greenery of a centuries-old olive grove, the swimming pool is the star attraction during the summer season. Guests are able to enjoy a refreshing dip or regenerative swim in a setting that strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and nature, or simply decide to take a load off under one of our parasols or sat around the pool, surrounded by the colors and sounds of the Tuscan countryside.
Please be reminded that the swimming pool is open between 8:00 and 20:00 and only during the summer season.
To ensure you can enjoy the pool to the fullest, but also for your security and that of others, all guests are required to read and adhere to our regulations.
A tennis court is available for use for guests who fancy a touch of sport. Located close to the pool, it’s the perfect place to train alone or with somebody else. Get stuck into a competitive game or simply knock a ball about under the sun!

Take a break from swimming or pass the time while you wait for your food to arrive with a spot of table tennis. It might be one of the less demanding sports, but it’s certainly one of the most fun and accessible! Find the table tennis area near the pool.
Close by to the apartments, we’ve set up a barbecue area with grills and tables where our guests can get to grips with one of the purest artforms in all of Tuscany: the barbecue! Take on the legendary Fiorentina steak or enjoy an al fresco dinner or lunch surrounded by nature – we highly recommend heading to San Donato in Poggio to pick up some local produce too!

We’ve considered all palates to devise a variety of tastings showcasing the Fattoria’s wine, extra-virgin olive oil and grappa. You can discover the wonderful flavors a mere stone’s throw from the winery and cellar, where wine – this land’s most symbolic product – has been produced for centuries.

Guests of the holiday farmhouse can enjoy a tour of the Fattoria Montecchio, which includes a visit to the ancient wine cellars. Carved into the rock under the old main house, these cellars are home not only to the finest Chianti Classico wine, but also to the history and traditions upon which the Fattoria is built.
